Stonebridge was established in 2005 by father and son Keith and Ian Pagram. Both had prior work in the Estate Agency industry in larger corporate office and saw an opportunity provide a more personal and professional service to their future clients. Our office is situated in a prime position within Shepton Mallet high street and provides a double fronted window display providing a large area to display available properties.
We advertise all of our properties on all the main property websites which means that your property will be “out there” as soon as you instruct us. The internet is a key part of our business and means that there is no longer the need for large multi-office agents so independent Estate Agents like us can concentrate on our own properties and provide a better service at a competitive price.
We provide honest and accurate market appraisals based on the current property market with absolutely no obligation. We also work on a “no sale – no fee basis”.
We are the current leaders in the letting market, providing confidence to investment buyers as we can offer many incentives to encourage them to buy your property.
Once a sale or purchase has been agreed we will work with you to ensure you have the best guidance throughout the process. This includes liaising with solicitors and mortgage brokers whilst keeping you fully informed about the state of the sale and provide any help or assistance that we can in order to achieve a smooth and satisfactory result.
Communication is very important to the Stonebridge team. To provide assurance to the buyers and sellers, Stonebridge decided to increase the ways of communication, not just via voice call but also digital communication via email, text, WhatsApp and Facebook. This has worked extremely well over the past years and has given all the confidence to proceed as well as the ability to get transactions agreed more efficiently.
We believe our hours of communication are different to most agents, after a day of viewings most would just close their line communication until the next day so the continuity can be lost from viewing to offer to sale agreed. Stonebridge decided to keep our telephone lines open until 9pm Monday – Saturday and until 4pm on Sundays in order to allow all parties time to ask questions and negotiate an offer within a more relaxed environment. We’ve found that this has given all parties a greater level of confidence in the service we provide.

Ian is a local family man and loves living in Shepton Mallet. Ian originally came from an account managing background and started In Estate Agency 20 years ago and has enjoyed it ever since. Ian is a strong believer in customer services and providing the support and empathy to his clients through this large step in their lives. Apart from work, Ian loves spending time with his family and is constantly building something with his DIY knowledge that he obtained through the years.
Ian also enjoys following his son’s progression in football and is proud to support his local team.
Ashley joined Stonebridge in 2014 and has grown into a vital member of the team, building strong relationships with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants along the way. Ashley worked in the financial services sector after leaving school before switching across to Estate Agency to join Stonebridge. He brought his customer service skills and level headed approach to every situation and enjoys meeting with new people on a day-to-day basis whilst seeing the variety of properties that the area has to offer whilst sharing his local knowledge with prospective purchasers.
Outside of work Ashley is an avid supporter of Yeovil Town FC and rarely misses a match.
Polly is a recent addition to the Stonebridge family and has become a key asset for our future development. Ian has known Polly for the past 8 years and was pleased when she accepted a position in the team. Polly has excellent customer service skills and is eager to push forward in her development in estate agency.
When out of the office, Polly enjoys spending time with her young family.
Keith played a key role in the original set up of Stonebridge and helped Ian create the business that Stonebridge is today.
Keith now works in back office and accounts and provides support to the office when needed.
